Straight from his
astounding MX1 GP victory in Ireland, CAS Honda star, Josh Coppins hopped
on a plane to the UK to race the Ken Hall Trophy.
The spectacular Langrish circuit attracted a great turnout of spectators
who witnessed a Coppins clean sweep. The Kiwi won both moto’s convincingly
although he was feeling the effect of three days of racing back to back.
“The Ken Hall Trophy is an awesome event and I always like coming
back here. It’s also great to interact with the fans. At the GP’s,
time is short and the atmosphere is not as relaxed but now I get to spend
more time signing autographs and talking to the fans which I enjoy. This
is a short week for me and I’ll be taking it easy up to Lierop.
I have been training really hard in the sand lately so I’m looking
forward to racing this weekend,” smiled Coppins.
The GP of Lierop in the Netherlands (2-3 September) will be the penultimate
round of the FIM MX World championship.
